Clementi is located in the west between Jurong and Dover. The town was named after the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Straits Settlements Sir Cecil Clementi.

SST is a secondary school established in 2010,it is a specialized independent school that focuses on applied learning,SST 's current holding site is located at Clementi but will be moved to it's permanent campus at dover in 2012.SST's current holging place used to belong to Pei Tong primary school.

2.Clementi MRT station
Clementi MRT station (EW23)is an above-ground MRT station which is part of the east-west line.One of the older MRT stations in Singapore, Clementi MRT station was opened in 1988. The station is painted light blue, and with recent renovations a lift has been added for the benefit of commuters.
Clementi MRT Station is heavily used by commuters who live in Clementi itself or further west to go to work. It is also used by students in the National University of Singapore and other schools around Clementi.
